Junior Pastry Sous Chef - Hotel & Venue- Ascot - £29,500pa
We are currently looking for an exceptional Junior Pastry Sous Chef for this hotel and venue.
The ideal candidate will come from a similar background with exposure to a variety of cooking styles and a progressive work history, Fine dining experience is definitely preferred but not essential - although you must be able to demonstrate outstanding pastry skill.
Along side the restaurant, wedding, events, and private dining, so you need to be on the ball and have a flexible attitude. Working along side the Executive Chef and Head Pastry Chef you must have the ability to train, coach enthuse and develop your team whilst maintaining the highest standards
You will be involved in the development of new dishes and menus, so will have creative flair and an eye for detail. Responsible for the smooth day to day running of the pastry offering you will be resourceful and approachable.
You MUST ensure food and hygiene standards are kept high. HACCP and COSHH requirements must also be met.
Working 5 days out of 7, the position is paying up to £29,500 per annum plus Tronc.
