An exciting opportunity arises for x2 skilled 1st Line Support Engineers to join a large Bank in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, bright individual who wants to be exposed to a wide range of technologies.

You will be working in a brand new operations team that supports internal I.T staff with any issues or problems they may have with ServiceNow. You will be given quality training in order to support maintenance of middleware and integration technologies within the bank. This training will help you become highly experienced in IBM middleware technologies, Scripting in Perl and Python and Scheduling technologies such as Autosys. Once skilled in these products, you will then deal with 3rd party vendors and suppliers.

This 1 year FTC is considered a probation and if successful, you will be offered permanent at the end of the contract.

You will have experience dealing with UNIX operating systems and have some sort of technology degree. Strong communication skills are a must as you will be dealing with lots of internal stakeholders every day.
