Due to the business' growth, Search are delighted to be able to be supporting to help recruit a Junior Business Development Manager for our established technology services client who offer a market leading service for their diverse and expansive global customer base. Working out of their Warrington central office, you would partner with a senior BDM and have a remote reporting line to a Business Development Director based overseas.

The main priority within this newly created position is to support the merger & acquisition of smaller technology businesses. As such this is a longer term "slower win" business development role requiring a great deal of resilience, patience and aptitude to tailor approaches and business plans.

The Junior Business Development Manager will need to be highly organised, independent, smart and energetic in order to fulfil the requirements of the position which will award a basic annual salary of between £25,000 and £30,000 with an OTE of £50,000 per annum. Other benefits within this Junior Business Development job will include 25 days + 8 days holiday, flexible hours and opportunities for home/field working plus an annual company bonus scheme on top of your salary & commission OTE.

The duties & responsibilities of this Junior Business Development Manager position will include (but by no means be limited to):

* Identifying software businesses meeting our strategic criteria
* Developing and conducting prospecting campaigns
* Maintaining and building a proprietary database of industry contacts
* Working in a team environment to ensure the smooth transition of accounts to the later stages of the process

This newly created Junior Business Development Manager position would be ideal for a person holding an undergraduate BA honours degree who has some experience within B2B service Sales/BD and is looking to build on this within a professional environment. The position would also offer role development after 18-24 months including potential for strong increased earnings.
