Search are seeking a qualified Joiner to work with a talented trades team within a well known in the area, Property maintenance company to deliver planned upgrades to properties.
Location: Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire & Moray
Providing planned kitchen and bathroom upgrades and repair maintenance.
The key objectives of the company are:
to ensure high level of customer satisfaction
to provide a high standard and quality of kitchen and bathroom installation
The Joiner is responsible for completing all repairs and renovations identified within housing stock and any other properties as instructed and for achieving and maintaining high standards of work that ensure high customer satisfaction levels.
The successful candidate will be a qualified joiner with experience in planned works to domestic properties.
Main duties will include:
* Carry out repairs and maintenance.
* Work as a team member.
* Complete all required processes relating to work documentation.
* Participate in the on-call duty and working overtime may be required.
* Demonstrate initiative to make decisions and resolve problems.
* Comply with all Company procedures and health and safety policies
encountered on site within approved levels of authority.
* Be responsible for any vehicles, materials, plant and equipment you may use when undertaking your duties.
* Carry out minor multi-trade tasks if required.
Qualifications & Training:
* Time served and qualified Joiner
* Full UK driving licence.
* CSCS.
Experience
* Previous experience in all aspects of joinery, including kitchen & bathroom installations.
* Carrying out joinery work within occupied properties.
* Experience of reactive and void works in social housing properties.
Skills & Knowledge
* Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to deal with a wide range of different customers
* High levels of awareness of Health and Safety
* Basic understanding of other trades and prepared to multi-task.
* Willingness to accept responsibility, ownership and control of a variety of situations.
* Self-motivated individual who works well on their own or within a team.
* Must be prepared to travel.

Contract Type: Full time (39 hours) Permanent (Monday to Thursday 8 to 4.30 and Friday 8 to 3.30.)
