An exciting opportunity for ambitious Java Developers has arisen in Surrey. My client, a leading national brand, are looking for a talented, personable, and ambitious Java Developers to join their thriving team. Technologies and skills you will develop:

* Java
* Creating REST APIs using Spring Boot
* Work with messaging tools such as RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ - Desirable
* Using Docker
* Clloud platforms. AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform
* Database technology. Relational or NoSQL
* Drive and initiative to learn whatever is necessary to explore new and existing solutions
* Diagnosing and solving complex problems and providing detailed technical analysis
* Design and development of distributed, scalable, and highly available systems
* Working in highly transactional online environments
* Advocating different agile methodologies: Scrum, Kanban, TDD, BDD, continuous delivery

What you'll do:

* Develop a variety of systems using Java and JVM based technologies, translating design specifications into software components from the ground up
* Design, develop and deploy different components with a focus on high availability, low latency and scalability in distributed environment
* Work closely with agile team members to collaborate and influence new development
* Share technical expertise with the team as a developer and mentor
* Assist the technical lead, product managers and architects to define the technical direction for the products you are supporting
