Invoicing Management Team Leader - £30,000 - £34,000 + Excellent Benefits Package - Permanent - Manchester

Working exclusively with Search, this innovative and forward thinking Global organisation is seeking a Invoicing Management Team Leader to join their Leadership Team.

Based in the Manchester Shared Service Centre this exciting and varied role will enable you to showcase your natural leadership and continuous improvement skills. This role will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful delivery of the wider billing changes & process improvements under the direction of the Senior Billing Manager.

The Invoicing Management Team Leader will lead a team of Senior Billing Specialists who will act as technical experts across the billing team and demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of the billing processing and the areas for improvement. Acting as the single point of contacts across the divisions - Insurance, Commercial, International, Connected & Managed Services to address billing issues with Fee Earners & PA's.


  • Involvement in business improvement/transformation projects
  • Management and Leadership
  • Day to day leadership & performance management of 6 Senior Billing Specialists
  • Communicate and drive the billing strategy set by the Senior Billing Manager across the IMT team
  • Lead the Senior Billing & Billing Specialists to perform root cause analysis on issues & monitor outputs across the divisions
  • To identify, drive and implement process improvements in the end to end billing processes. Completing root cause analysis on recurring issues so problems are anticipated & discovered eliminating the underlying causes.
  • Supporting the Culture & Change team to identify improvements & longer term fixes & help drive an environment of Continuous Improvement (CI) and problem solving culture across the billing team

Due to the nature of the role, your background and experience will clearly demonstrate an in depth knowledge and understanding of Billing/Receivables/OTC and Continuous Improvement within a shared service environment. The role demands exemplary people management and leadership skills which you will have developed within large corporate/international environments. These will hold you in good stead as the business culture is people orientated, dynamic and creative.

A deep understanding of end to end processes in the areas of Billing are a must as is strong Continuous Improvement/Project Management skills. Previous transformational experience would be a distinct advantage.
