We are looking for a brand new team of customer focused advisors to work on behalf of one of the UK's largest banking groups.

About this Customer Service Advisor Job

Based in Salford, Manchester, you will answer general banking enquiries from existing customers, and receive fully paid training to help get you started.

You'll receive full training to be able to deal with a wide range of banking enquiries; transaction details, payments needing to be processed, Direct Debit Indemnities, questions re Savings or ISA accounts etc.

You'll be working a 38.75 hour week and need to be available to work shifts between 8am and 10pm Monday to Sunday on a rota basis. All rotas will be given to you 4 weeks in advance so that you can plan your social life around your working hours.

What you'll need

If you are experienced in Customer Service, whether that be face to face or over the phone, then we would love to hear from you. If you have previous experience in banking, that would be ideal, but not essential.

It's a busy call centre, so being comfortable and proficient with a computer is important.

Also, you'll need to be able to provide:

  • Proof of ID; Passport OR full Birth Certificate; Resident permit where required

* Proof of address; Recent utility bill or Bank statement, driving licence etc.

* Proof of NI number; NI card, previous pay slip or HMRC document

You must be able to pass:

  • DBS; Criminal Record Check - No unspent criminal convictions can be accepted

* A LENIENT credit check - don't worry about missed payments but CCJs, IVAs and Bankruptcy would be an issue.

* 3 years worth of career history with clear references.
