HR Manager; Permanent; Salary up to £45k; Tameside; Infrequent travel required

Our well respected and well known Tameside based Manufacturing client are currently looking for a HR Manager to join their energetic and friendly team. As HR Manager you will provide the staff on site with an excellent operational, generalist HR service. Working closely with Senior Management team, the HR Manager will deliver a comprehensive HR service to all employees throughout the business, including infrequent travel to a second site.

Core responsibilities include:

*Leading and managing HR Operations
*Offering advice to management regarding employee relations. Including, disciplinaries, grievances and performance management;
*Supporting recruitment needs through direct methods including advert drafting and managing established agency relationships;
*Lead on absence reviews and performance management issues, up to and including dismissal;
*Reviewing and creating contracts of employment;
*HR Management Information reporting;
*Liaising with payroll department with relevant information in relation to new starters or leavers;
*Ensuring all HR and organisational policies are monitored regularly;
*Leading on ad-hoc project work, including new HRIS implementation

The ideal candidate will:

*Possess CIPD level 5 or above qualification;
*Previous experience delivering a range of generalist HR duties outlined above;
*Excellent employment law knowledge;
*First-rate communication and stakeholder skills, both written & verbal;
*Knowledge of employment rates;
*Full UK driving license with access to own vehicle
