HR Business Partner - FTE £50,000 + car - regional/home based - Part Time (4 days)
Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire - 12 month FTC

Our client is a global household name, synonymous with excellence in service. They are now looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join one of their largest business units to support its senior management team with all people rated challenges. This is a home based role which will support 2 diverse sites and as such, flexibility to travel across South Wales/West Midlands/Buckinghamshire will be needed.

As HR Business Partner you will support 2 sites and will directly manage a team of 2 HR Advisors, a HR Officer and indirectly 4 more HR Administrators. Our client is starting the process of a large piece of change within HR which will see this role focus more in the future on purely partnering your senior stakeholders. However until that time, this role will have a blend of strategic HR as well as some higher level operational human resources elements and project work.

The HR Business Partner will start to focus on proactive elements of human resources to include engagement, recruitment, succession and talent. In the future the role will also include development for leaders and working with Directors on projects to reduce attrition. There will be projects too as directed by your Snr HRBP reporting line. However you'll find this role a blend of Ops and strategic HR to include support on complex ER issues as well as supporting the sites move towards a more self sufficient HR model. You'll need to also support, mentor and manage your team to ensure operational issues are in hand and that they are developed.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join at a pivotal time and help to lead forward the HR function with this business until. You'll need to be an excellent communicator and be able to support Director level senior managers through this journey. There will be challenges ahead and some of the sites are more self sufficient than others, but with your guidance, HR should be able to make a real difference.

To be successful in this role you'll need to be a successful HRBP with experience of managing HR teams. Ideally you'll have multi-site or remote working experience preferably from within a large matrix style organisation. It is expected you will manage your own diary and workload and as such organise when you will need to travel to the sites. Our client can consider part time 4 days a week. Although CIPD is not essential, it would be a benefit. This role is a 12 month FTC.
