HR Advisor - Warwickshire - £35,000 - £38,000
Our client is a global household name, synonymous with excellence in service. They are now looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join one of their most important business units to support its managers and staff with all people rated challenges. This is a full generalist role supporting just under 300 staff with the support of a HR Administrator, who you will manage.
Reporting through to a regional HRBP who is likely to join you onsite weekly, and with a dotted line to the site director (key stakeholder), the HR Advisor will provide advice, guidance, support and coaching to managers on a wide range HR issues likely to includes areas such as absence (both long and short term), disciplinary and grievance, capability, conduct as well as support with appraisal processes.
The HR Advisor will also support with the recruitment process and along with the HR Administrator and managers would help to organise semi-regular recruitment events. You'll also help to compile and analyse HR data via HR reporting monthly, using local HR and other systems. Upcoming project work includes working with managers to develop a strategy based on recent employee survey results.
Building relationships and rapport is crucial to this role to enable you to advise and influence managers, and in particular highlight risk to them. To be successful you'll be a strong HR generalist ideally with experience of managing as developing the HR Administrator will be a priority. A CIPD qualification, or studying towards, would be an advantage.
