HR Advisor - Barnstaple with some travel - c£30-£32K + car allowance

Our client is undoubtedly the market leader in their niche manufacturing and engineering field. Due to growth and acquisitions, they are now looking for an experienced and ideally CIPD qualified HR Advisor, operating as a HR generalist, to join their team in Devon.

Reporting through to the HR Manager off site, the HR Advisor will provide a robust and all encompassing HR service to the leadership team and managers in Devon (2 sites) as well as another site in Somerset - around 175 heads in total.

The HR Advisor will get involved in all people related activities to include areas such as employee relations, resource management and recruitment, training, developing and coaching the management team to raise HR capability and reporting on HR data and metrics.

As this role is largely stand alone, you'll also get involved in some areas of HR administration, logging and recording time and attendance and internal comms.

To be successful in this role it's anticipated you'll have a broad general HR advisory background, ideally from a similar type of environment. You'll be a strong HR operator with the ability to forge relationship and influence when needed. You'll have a robust working knowledge of employment law and will be motivated and a self starter - as this role is stand alone you'll need to work off your own initiative and be pro-active.

To find out more about this role, please contact Mark Dayman at Search HR on 0116 247 3308 or email mark.dayman@search.co.uk

Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
