Basic DBS Required

Do you have a passion for people?
Is a care setting something you enjoy but don't like the hands on side of care?
Do you enjoy being very busy?
Are you the kind of person who loves cleaning?

Then this might be what you are looking for…….

I am currently working with a national client in the Mental Health Sector and looking for cleaners to be based in Leeds.
The roles are all in residential mental health settings so working in similar roles or coming from a care background will be very advantageous.

You must be willing to do a Basic DBS check for this role if you do not hold an existing up to date DBS.

I have the following shift patterns available.

7am - 3pm 5 days out of 7

11am - 7pm 5 days out of 7

3pm - 9pm 5 days out of 7

As you will appreciate Mental Health facilities are open 7 days a week so you must be willing to work a weekend. These residential environments run 365 days of the year and 24 hours a day.

You will be expected and not limited to general cleaning and a cleaning schedule will be given to you so you know what is expected.
The day to day duties involve;

* Hallways
* Doors
* Windows
* Stairs
* Walls
* Floors
* Toilets
* Kitchens
* Staff Rooms
* Common Rooms ( also known as Lounge Areas)

The residents rooms also need a daily clean of the sink, toilet and floor.

There are occasionally times when a curtain has fallen down or a resident has spilled something. This would also fall into your remit.

It is a rewarding role for the right mind-set.

Long term assignments are available as well as immediate starts and may lead to permanent opportunities.

If you have no experience in care but love cleaning and do not mind the environment please apply today.

Whilst on the wards you will need to wear a face mask and protective apron.

Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age
