Job Description: - Health and Safety Administrator

Location: Liverpool

Hours: 37.50 hours per week Monday - Friday 9.00am- 5.00pm

Pay Rate: £9.22 per hour

My Client is looking for a Health and Safety Administrator who will provide administrative support to the Health and Safety department, ensuring documentation is completed correctly, logged and filed.

Main Objectives and Responsibilities

  • Ensure Health and Safety Information Systems are updated and maintained accurately on a
  • day-to-day basis
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal systems and practices
  • Ensure Health and Safety related documentation is completed correctly, logged and filed
  • Organise food and tobacco registration
  • Respond appropriately and professionally to internal and external queries
  • Liaise with management, insurance companies and legal representatives to resolve Health and Safety queries
  • Assist colleagues as and when required
  • Provide administrative support and assistance to the Health and Safety department
  • Other duties in accordance with role and within remit of skill base

  • Knowledge, Training and Experience Required
  • Experience in an administrative role
  • Ability to use an information system including, accessing, inputting, and compiling data
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to communicate with a diverse customer group
  • Excellent written communication skills to produce succinct correspondence and reports and to
  • present this information appropriately
  • Ability to work within tight and often conflicting timeframes
  • Experience of working in a team
