£60,000/£70,000 + Good package

Summary of the Head of IT role:

The Head of IT will work for a UK wide Ed-tech/E-learning organisation. The Head of IT will need to have previously managed IT departments of 30+ and executed strategy development/management of IT Infrastructure/Business Systems.

You will provide direct leadership to 10 reports with the aim to scale team size.

You will need a proven track record of budget management, recruitment, cost savings, analysis and IT road map development to be successful.

In this role, you will collaborate with the Infrastructure Manager/Systems/Cyber Security and Architecture to ensure delivery on IT continuous improvement, high availability, low down time, IT solutions and business systems improvement.

Key Skills required from the successful Head of IT:

* The ability to draw out user needs and translate them into requirements and technical solutions.
* Strong written and verbal communications skills.
* Good stakeholder management.
* Good experience around networking, cloud, O365, security.
