Head of HR - Staffordshire - up to £60K + bonus

Our client is a leading light in the within the care industry, supporting thousands of young people across the UK. Due to growth and expansion, they are now recruiting for an experienced and CIPD qualified Head of HR.

This is a new role within the organisation and will have the dual aim of helping to unite the various business and divisions within the group under a unified people plan, as well as improving areas of HR such as process and policy.

Supporting an operational HR team of 6, who in turn service over 1,000 employees, you'll help the team in making changes to process, policy and procedure to help both simplify and streamline as well as engage and development the operational management teams working with them. You'll work closely with the leadership teams across the various businesses and divisions and also the HRBPs to ensure both proactive areas of the people plan are being driven forward as well as support and guidance on reactive senior day to day issues as they arise.

At the heart of what our client does is compassion and care, and this is something the organisation holds dear and features in all aspects of company life, either as an operational staff member on the front line or in HR. You'll need to be a pragmatic HR leader, forward thinking and able to work at pace. You'll need to work both commercially and with a strong customer service ethos.
