Legal Counsel - Group, Jersey

Our client is a leading international provider of alternative asset management solutions across Real Estate, Private Equity, Private Debt and Institutional Investments. Based in Jersey, they provide administration and funds solutions across their multiple international offices and are seeking to hire a Legal Counsel into their Group Legal team.

As part of a wider corporate legal team, you will primarily advise the Group on various corporate and commercial matters such as joint ventures, acquisitions, restructurings and financing matters and in addition advise on a range of other legal issues that affect the business globally. The role will cover various jurisdictions including the Cayman Islands, Luxembourg, The USA and the UK (including the Channel Islands).

Candidate Requirements

  • Ideally you will be a qualified solicitor with at least 5 years' PQE from a well regarded law firm. If you have secondment experience or in house experience this would be advantageous but this is not a requirement.
  • You should be able to demonstrate high levels of commercial awareness through various corporate matters you have advised on which should include M&A, JVs, restructuring and financing, amonst others.
