A market leading central London insurance organisation is looking for a recent/upcoming graduate to join their expanding commercial underwriting team. This insurance company boasts a bustling and vibrant legal team with fantastic employee feedback across the board, as well as a great working environment. They offer a robust training programme with a fantastic track record of bringing new Trainees up to speed and filled with confidence in no time!

As an a trainee commercial underwriter you will be involved in underwriting high net worth commercial legal indemnity risks, negotiating and maximising business profitability by means of effective and flexible underwriting decision and techniques. You will have significant limits and authority on cases of technical complexity. You will build strong relationships with clients, solicitors, brokers and business units plus assist the organisations sales team in the development of these relationships through presentations, meetings and corporate events.

Preferably you degree will have had a focus on an analytical are of academia, in particular: legal/insurance/property/econmics/geography.
