Our client, rated #1 in the currency transfer business, is hiring a Full Stack Software Developer to join their core technology team. Your role as a Full-Stack Software Engineer involves writing elegant and efficient code (in C# and SQL) for their ETL project where you will query, merge and transfer data from multiple sources to their data analysis platform (Google Big Query) using internal as well as external APIs. You will have a good and broad knowledge of various data analysis tools and techniques as well as being confident to utilise and write APIs for data extraction, manipulation and transfer.
As a Senior Developer, you'll bring the following skillset:
- Current and expert knowledge of C#/ASP.NET and SQL Server for writing efficient, reliable and intuitive code for ETL, data warehousing, data analysis and data cleansing projects using internal as well as external APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud computing and running data analysis projects in the cloud using AWS, Google Cloud or Azure
- Knowledge and experience of back-office operations within the Financial Services industry ( FX, Trading, Asset Management) would be a big C+.
- An advanced degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
