Float Receptionist - Permanent Position - 4 on 4 off. Days/Nights - £24,419

I am currently recruiting for a float receptionist to cover 3 different sites. This is a full time receptionist position working for face-paced, busy apartment hotels. They are looking for someone flexible who would float between all 3 London based sites and in addition to this, be willing to cover sickness and annual leave. You would be required to work on a shift pattern of days and nights. This is a permanent position paying £24,419 per annum with a potential 10% bonus. They would require someone who could be adaptable to all sites and create a relationship with all guests at all sites.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Be the first point of contact for all guests, delivering an exceptional standard of customer service at all times
* Check-in / out guests
* Responding to guests needs in a polite, accommodating and flexible manner
* Communicate updates and/or changes to guest as they arise
* Manage and resolve complaints
* Perform reception tasks and coordinate the operations for the site to ensure uninterrupted service to guests
* Contribute to the overall success of the aparthotel by identifying potential key corporate clients
* Taking reservations and coordinating with the Sales & Reservations Agents
* Pre-arrival suite checks in order to maintain high standards at all times
* Inputting and managing Opera PMS to maximise occupancy, as well utilising the system to support the Housekeeping and Maintenance teams
* Preparing paperwork for arrivals and departures
* Coordinating with maintenance and housekeeping in relation to arrival, departures, special requests and any issues that need attention
* Processing payments in a timely manner and following up on any outstanding payments for long stay guests
* Responsible for the on-site petty cash including monthly reporting for accounts
* Billing guests for extras
* Suite and building spot checks to assess standards and report any areas of concern
* Complying with health and safety procedures at all times
* Coordinate with nominated sub-contractors for any emergencies or call-outs

Experience required for the position would be a hotel reception background and knowledge/experience using Opera systems. This is preferred but not essential. The ability to work solely and as part of a team, great organisational skills so that you're always one step ahead. Confident working within a face-paced customer service driven environment.
