A premium international law firm are seeking a Financial Services Lawyer (1-6 PQE) for their Financial Markets Team in Leeds.

You will join one of the largest financial regulation teams in the UK who advise on the full range of issues affecting financial services clients.

You will work closely with the Partners to grow the work and profile of this part of the practice. You should have at least 6 months experience in a financial regulation team (training contract or post-qualification) a good grounding and all round knowledge of the financial regulatory regime and general familiarity with the regulatory challenges facing investment banks, brokers, funds and platforms.

Candidates with capital markets or derivatives experience would also be considered provided you have a strong interest in financial regulation and banking matters.

This is a fantastic opportunity with plenty of responsibility where you will handle your own matters and assist the Partners and other lawyers with more complex work. You will also have the opportunity to undertake client secondments.

Whatever your level, you'll be expected to play a full role in the Team, including involvement in business development and regular client contact. The team will take a genuine interest and support you with your development therefore offering excellent career prospects.
