Finance Reporting Analyst - £28,000+ Benefits - Manchester

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Finance Reporting Analyst to join a global leader based in Manchester. The Financial Reporting Analyst works as part of the Reporting team within the Corporate Accounting Team in Manchester.The Manchester Team is ultimately responsible for the timely and accurate consolidation and reporting of IFRS data.

The Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for: timely and accurate collection of data and quality control of reporting packs; reporting IFRS data, preparing value-added analysis against prior period; and controlling IFRS financial reporting across , all within the established internal controls framework.

The role requires a sound knowledge of financial accounting as well as the ability to assimilate business processes and understand their impact on financial reporting.This is a high profile role, with interesting and challenging work, a high level of responsibility, giving exposure to external auditorsand the Corporate Controller's group in Geneva.
Minimum requirements for thw role:

* Educated to degree standard or equivalent preferred
* Studying towards an accountancy qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
* Experience of working within an accounting function
* Strong analytical skills
* SAP Knowledge preferable
* Strong MS Excel skills
