Search Accountancy and Finance are currently working on an excellent job opportunity that has arisen for a Finance Manager with a market leading organisation based in the Perthshire area. This is a full-time, 12 month contract role.
This is an exciting role that will allow you the opportunity to support two very different business groups with the same organisation. The Finance manager will lead a team of five, who are responsible for the daily accountancy function, as well as, month end and reporting to the wider business. You'll also liaise with the Business Partner on a daily basis to provide updates on financial performance and provide additional insight through reporting and commentary as required.
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with extensive experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate strong financial and organisational skills and the ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of people. Ideally, you'll also have strong communication skills, commercial awareness, focus and enthusiasm along with being proficient in MS Office applications (particularly excel) and knowledge of ERP software (Oracle would be desirable).
This is a position that will suit an individual with a track record of shaping and leading teams and you will show a flair for developing and mentoring the people that work for you. You will have a focus on continuous improvement, and you will be able to show where you have initiated and led change initiatives in a business environment.
