We're very exciting to be recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join a rapidly growing, highly acquisitive manufacturing based business in Elland.

The Role

As Finance Business Partner, you'll be working closely with the Finance Director and wider leadership team and Stakeholder Group to run a finance team of very driven, talented and ambitious professionals and help drive the business through a period of rapid growth and expansion.

This is a diverse role offering full oversight of the whole business, plenty commercial exposure to business partner the wider stakeholder group to help add value, support decision making, and also oversee the performance of the global overseas subsidiaries.

Given the diversity of the role, duties could include but are certainly not limited to:

• Overseeing the production of the management accounts for the UK and multiple overseas subsidiaries
• Manage, support and develop a small team of Assistant Accountants
• Full P&L responsibility, ensuring any varying performance issues across subsidiaries are understood
• Be involved in supporting the global roll out of a new ERP system, helping to train the team.
• Ensure new acquisitions are successfully and efficiently integrated into the business.
• Manage working capital and cash flow forecasting
• Business Partner with the wider stakeholder group and departments (Marketing, Product Development, Sales etc) to provide useful insight and analysis to help drive performance, identify opportunities and aid business growth.
• Assist the Group FC with the annual budgeting process.
• Provide commercial support and help drive continuous improvement.

Your Profile

The ideal person for this role will be a career driven, ambitious Finance Business Partner looking to work in a high growth, highly acquisitive, forward thinking manufacturing firm, offering a clear succession plan and opportunities for progression.
You'll be passionate about driving growth and adding value in a business facing role, and able to work in a very fast paced ever changing environment.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally:

• Be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA will be considered)
• Have an appetite to further grow a highly acquisitive business
• Have demonstrable experience of adding value to a business, provide insight and analysis to shape strategy and aid decision making.
• Be confident liaising with Senior Stakeholders and challenging the status quo to provide value add recommendations.
• Be self motivated, driven and able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• A background in Manufacturing would be highly advantageous but not essential.
