I am currently working with a large well-known business in the Borders looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the wider finance team and be responsible for:

* Register Purchase Invoices on System , ensure invoices are coded accurately and spend matrix adhered to

* Match invoices to correct delivery notes/purchase orders

* Statement reconciliations

* Payment runs - BACS, multi currency bank accounts

* Process bank payments and journals

* Resolving supplier queries efficiently - dealing with internal and external parties

* Company Expenses claims - ensuring correct procedure is adhered to

Some experience in credit control would also be beneficial.
