Finance Assistant - Accounts Payable

About the role
The position of Finance Assistant is predominantly accounts payable, is a key role within the finance team working efficiently and ensuring the highest levels of accuracy. The position requires day-to-day accounting functions to be carried out and requires a team player who enjoys providing input and support in improving process efficiencies and reporting capability. THE PERSON MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE OF HIGH VOLUMES OF INVOICES

Key responsibilities
* Accounts Payable function of Bell's Healthcare and Relonchem Ltd
* Processing and payment of ~600 invoices per month
* Preparation and processing of month end journals - accruals, prepayments etc
* Credit card statement and expense claim processing
* Involvement in year end audit process, reporting and provision of information
* Provide cover for other team members as and when required
* Any other ad hoc analysis, information requests to support the business

Person profile
* Experience within a similar position within Retail or Wholesale would be desirable but not essential
* Advanced Excel skills - vlookup / pivot tables
* Numerate with strong analytical skills
* Highly motivated, self-starter, full of initiative and able to work autonomously
* Team player

Monday -Friday 8.30-4.30pm
