Finance Analyst - International

Finance Analyst - International - Up to £27,500+ Excellent Benefits Package + Study Support - Manchester - Permanent

Partnering with Search, we have an exciting opportunity available for a Finance Analyst to join the International team for one of the UK's biggest Multi-Brand, Multi-Channel Retailer due to extensive growth plans across the .com side of their business.

The successful candidate will have, strong reconciliation experience, Bank Reconciliation/Balance sheet reconciliation and a continuous improvement mind-set to ensure that services are being delivered in the most effective way, putting the customer at the heart of everything you do

Monthly Reporting:

* Raising Purchase Orders and Investment Orders and reporting these to key business partners
* Time Sheets for IT projects to ensure costs are reflected in the appropriate business unit
* Unblocking any payment and invoicing issues to ensure payments are made to the terms agreed
* Recording costs and collating the story on spend
* Tracking lifecycle status of projects for capitalisation
* Collaborating closely with budget owners to raise purchase orders and goods receipt invoices

Business Partnering:

• Maintaining relationships with internal Business Partners across Finance and the commercial Business Divisions
• Working with the International finance team to ensure the timely actioning of finance processes

Key Skills:

• Previous experience in a control environment, to ensure financials are accurate and risks are highlighted
• Attention to detail and solid knowledge of fundamental accounting principles
• Experienced reconciliation of both P&L and BS accounts - including the presentation of the reconciliations
• A high level of Excel proficiency
• Excellent organisational skills, working to agreed time frames and being flexible in approach when any supplemental requests are made
• Effective communication and business partnering skills with the ability to influence at all levels
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
