Field Monitoring Officer
£20,389

My client is contracted to provide electronic monitoring services including tagging across England. They require a female ( as you are dealing with lone females in their own homes) who is self motivated, enjoys thinking on their feet and can use own initiative.

The geographical locations for this role are Southampton, Bournemouth, Weymouth and Dorchester. A car is provided but you must live in one of these areas.

ROLE
The role involves going into the homes of people on curfew, alone or alongside a colleague. You are responsible for installing, calibrating and decommissioning monitoring equipment, so that the person on curfew can be detected within the boundaries of their property. You will check and clean equipment when it's issued and on collection, and quarantine any equipment which needs to be held for evidence. Responding to priority visits, you'll be there to address any incidents and liaise with the central office over any issues or subject breaches.

You'll keep track of equipment and make sure you complete paperwork in a timely and accurate manner. Following standard operational procedures, you'll ensure contract compliance is maintained always. You'll also help with ad-hoc duties and take part in meetings with both your team and your line manager. Occasionally, you might also need to attend court, but this is rare.

ESSENTIAL
Physical fitness and mobility is vital, as you'll be attaching and removing the curfew equipment.
Experience working in a customer facing role as you need to know how to deal with challenging conversations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written English must be high as you are completing paperwork.
It is essential that you have a full UK Driving Licence and at least a year of driving experience, so you can travel to the subject's homes.

Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
