Family Support Worker

Search Consultancy is currently looking a Family Support Worker to join our expanding team in the Bradford area. This position is on a contract basis starting as soon as possible and will last until the end of March 2020, with the possibility of extension.

Salary: £12 per hour

Hours: 7 hours 4.30pm finish on Fridays although hours are to suit families needs, which maybe evenings and weekends.


As a Family Support Worker you will conduct triage of group referrals, undertake home visits, record all contacts and action on Early Help Module as well as make referrals to partner agencies.

In this job you will also support existing open cases as required covering sickness or long term absence, as well as undertake clear handovers from Duty to Key Worker.


The ideal Family Support Worker will:
* Have experience in supervising contacts between children and families
* Have an understanding of safeguarding procedures
* Be able to drive, unless a disability prevents you to do so
