Family Support Worker


Search Consultancy Ltd is currently looking for a Family Support Worker to join our expanding team in the Sunderland area. This position is on a contract basis starting as soon as possible until the April 2020, subject to review.

Salary: £14.05 per hour


As a Family Support Worker you will work alongside the social work team to support the children and families in order to achieve positive outcomes. The role will also involve facilitating supervised contact sessions.


The ideal Family Support Worker will:
* Due to the nature of the job, the ideal Family Support Worker will hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Social Care or equivalent
* Hold a driving licence unless a disability prevents you from having one
* Have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Children's Social Care procedures, safeguarding procedures, knowledge of social, emotional and developmental needs of young people
