Facilities Assistant - Rugby - £10.58ph - Contract (possibly T2P) - Immediate Start

Start Time : 08:00
End Time : 17:00

The Opportunity:
This large facilities management company are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Facilities Assistant to join their busy team in Rugby. The office is based on main routes in Rugby and within close proximity to the train station.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* To assist with the day to day running of the Rugby site
* Carry out fabrication work
* Non-technical statutory maintenance such as tap temps, weekly flushing etc.
* Ensure documentation is completed as necessary
* Fire alarm weekly testing and co-ordinate fire drills
* Daily meeting room checks, ensuring rooms are ready for use
* Co-ordinate non-technical PPM delivery
* Co-ordinate non-technical contractor visits to site and issue authority to work permits and general permits
* Ensure reactive works are delivered on time and closed on appropriate systems
* Monitoring of cleaning on site and carry out monthly audits
* Regular walks of the floors to check on maintenance, cleaning, health & safety and
reporting any issues as necessary
* Building checks of noticeboards

What you'll need:
* The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience
* Have experience of working as a fabric engineer is advantageous
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Great organisation and time management
