We are currently recruiting for a Export Service Advisor to join a leading firm based in Liverpool. You will be required to provide a quality service to customers and suppliers ensuring a smooth process from customer booking to invoicing.

The job

Informing customers of late running deliveries and failed collections

Providing quality customer service via telephone, email and face to face

Liaising with trade, overseas agencies, suppliers and customers

Complete invoice queries

Ensuring bookings are completed within strict time frames

Monitor daily transport issues reporting in to Management

Provide alternative solutions regarding deliveries

Ensuring any shipping amendments are completed within set

Supporting the transport departments with bookings and planning

Applying all relevant and outstanding charges

Entering shipment manifest details accurately

Handling customer complaints professionally and escalating if necessary

Bills of lading

Updating systems with vessel delays

Daily communication with various departments

Implement new strategies and procedures

Skills required

Previous shipping experience

Previous customer service experience is essential

Good attention to detail

Good knowledge of shipping processes, procedures rules and regulations

Able to pick up new systems quickly

Excellent telephone manner

We are looking for an Export Clerk to join a well established company based in Liverpool. You will be providing support to a busy Export department ensuring Customers are kept up to date in the booking process.

The Job-

Monitor incoming bookings and requests via telephone and email

Ensuring accurate data is inputted to internal systems

Handling all invoices

Updating and maintaining systems

Assisting with training new employees with guidance

Keeping customers updated with any delays

Chasing any outstanding or missing Custom Entries for all bookings

Arranging diversions requests

Carrying out any booking cancellations ensuring any charges applicable are advised to the Customer

Other administrative tasks when required

Skills required -

Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail

Previous shipping experience

Excellent Customer Service skills
