Executive Assistant
£14.85 per hour
3 month temporary contract with the potential of going permanent

Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Provide support to the Head of Communications and Marketing, with the outcome of support the smooth and efficient running of Communications and Marketing team. This will include:
- Proactive diary management, scheduling and organisation;
- Generate and provide daily briefings and papers;
- Ensuring that meetings relating to Communications and Marketing are well planned, organised and structured to achieve the required outcomes; this will include administrative support;
- Ensuring that changes to commitments are proactively managed in line with priorities;
- Handling of and prioritising correspondence, emails and telephone calls;
- Handling sensitive and confidential information

2. Work with the Head of Communications and Marketing to ensure alignment between Operations, School and Faculty Function Priorities, and the planning cycle;

3. Liaise proactively with other departments within and outside the Schools and Faculty Office to ensure that activities are aligned to annual requirements, and that supporting events and information are in place ahead of time;

4. Prepare travel itineraries for the Head of Communications and Marketing and accompanying staff, make supporting travel arrangements and prepare pre-conference/meeting briefings where required;

5. Autonomously deliver small projects, with responsibility for delivery of outcomes;

6. Provide support for visitors attending meetings with the Head of Communications and Marketing, including liaison, requirements, and travel and accommodation arrangements. Also act as a primary point of contact both before and during visits
