Due to the success of our client's business, they have an exciting new role for an ER & Policy Development Specialist. You'll be based in Staffordshire/North Birmingham (with flexibility) earning a very competitive salary of £48,000 per year plus car allowance and bonus.
Working with the ER & Policy Development Manager, the successful ER candidate will be responsible for liaising, consulting and negotiating with Trade Unions at a national level across a range of ER and Policy activities. You will provide specialist support on complex and varied employee relations issues ensuring the balance between commercial and legal considerations.
If you'd have been working there last week, earning £48,000 a year, you might have done the following:
? Refreshed key ER policies with more straightforward and more up to date language
? Produced templates for HR policies and guides
? Reviewed manager guides to ensure consistency and identify improvements to assist leaders through typical ER queries
? Managed the project plan for the implementation of a new ER Benefits contracts into the business
The successful candidate will be a brilliant Employee Relations expert with a comprehensive HR Advisor skill set and significant ER experience, including policy development and writing. You'll have expertise in Employment Law and vast experience of working with Trade Unions alongside having a collaborative, flexible in your approach and excellent communication skills. Have you managed 3rd party HR vendors, such as Occupational Health, Physio and Employee Assistance Programs? In this role you will manage those relationships.
You should also have experience of project and change management and be CIPD qualified or have equivalent knowledge and experience. In return, you'll get a fantastic salary, car allowance, bonus, private medical insurance and 25 days holiday.
