Enforcement Assistant

Search Consultancy Ltd is currently looking for an Enforcement Assistant to join our expanding team in the Stockton area. This position is on a contract basis starting as soon as possible until mid December 2019, subject to review.

Salary: £11.40 per hour

As an Enforcement Assistant you will work in the Revenues and Benefits team, collecting unpaid Council Tax, NNDR and Parking debt. You will be responsible for preparation of cases for enforcement action, issue of forms requesting financial information and assessment of completed forms to determine the most appropriate payment arrangement, as well as Dealing with telephone enquiries where customers contact the enforcement team making outbound calls to negotiate and make payments.

The ideal Enforcement Assistant will:
* Have experience of giving advice and information to the public over the telephone and by letter/email
* Have good negotiation skills and the ability to successfully build a rapport with customers
