Job Title: Energy Consultant
Line Manager: Director
Salary: £17,000 to £20,000 basic


As an Energy Consultant you will be responsible for engaging prospective business customers using detailed product knowledge gained from our extensive industry-leading training and your natural sales skills to understand customer's needs to offer them the best possible solution.

You will also be responsible for capturing key tactical sales pipeline information to ensure you speak to customers at the right time while also gathering information on our competitors to enhance your rapport building and negotiation skills.

There's a lead gen team - they pass on average 4/5 leads a day - Fully qualified leads

* 100 Dials a day
* 105mins call time
* Sales targets £2k-£10k per month

* 8.45am to 5pm Monday to Friday
* No weekend working
* Regular monthly incentives, team nights out including Casino nights and recognition award events
* Christmas bonus up to £300

* 10% If a passed on lead
* 20% If direct
* 30% Over £16k in Billings

* Sales Excellence

Communicates with customers in a clear, professional, and articulate manner, mainly by telephone but also via email / electronic correspondence as required. Ensures that prescribed call quality and compliance standards are always upheld.

* Acquisition and Retention Value

Accountable for delivery against £'s value targets in terms of business electricity and gas new acquisition and renewal of contract sales, and performance managed in terms of your result output

* Data Management / Utilisation

Individually accountable for maintaining contact as promised with both existing and new prospect customers through our in-house CRM system

* Attendance

Attend work as scheduled and follows company absence reporting requirements


* Proven ability to recognise customers' needs and convert these into sales

*? Strong rapport building and negotiation skills, preferably gained within a B2B sales environment or other sales based environments
*? Passionate about delivering an excellent customer experience

* Have experience of working with outbound calling, preferably within a B2B environment or other sales-based environments
