Search is partnering with a growing progressive business with offices near Ellesmere Port, who are seeking an experienced Senior Employee Relations Advisor.

This is a large business with a fast-paced, professional outlook. Privately owned, and looking to expand, the business is close to technology and has adopted a flexible approach to people management. The organisation has three main business models which provide some variety to the Senior ER Advisor position, plus a wide range of stakeholders across all levels, both blue and white collar. The HR team is sizeable, with a wide range of experience, and the environment is collaborative, with strong engagement internally across the business. Parts of the business are unionised and regulated, with scope for TUPEs although the ER Advisor position may not necessarily support those areas.

As Employee Relations Advisor, you will report to division's HR Manager and will partner with a team of other ER Advisors in the business. Primarily responsible for handling the complex ER activity which is escalated from more junior members of the team, you will use your strong employment law knowledge to coach and guide line management through HR policies and ER case work while strengthening relationships within the organisation. You will coach and up skill management, guide on absence and sickness, and thereby positively impact the divisions that you partner, and will coach and mentor junior team members in HR and ER best practice.

This is a challenging fast-paced HR position with a clear remit.
