I am currently working with one of the UK's largest established independent financial firms who are looking for a Employee Benefits Advisor to join their team.

Purpose of the Role
To provide quality ongoing advice to their corporate clients and to identify and develop new business opportunities. To be able to work in a fast-paced environment with finely tuned processes and an excellent support team to help you succeed.


  • Provide high-quality and ongoing benefits packages/ advice to our existing clients by understanding the client's business, culture and objectives
  • Work as an extension of the client to align the benefits to their business goals
  • Ensure written advice is provided in a timely manner to uphold our excellent client service standards
  • Provide advice in all employee benefits areas including Automatic Enrolment, Group Risk, Business Protection, Flexible Benefits, Workplace Pension Schemes, Pension Scheme Governance, Retirement Planning, Wellbeing and Group Life (or, would the last page of brochure be more relevant - the one in blue box on right hand side?)
  • Follow our highly regarded advice processes designed to ensure efficiencies of work whilst maintaining the level of quality advice to the client
  • Generate referrals from our established professional connections
  • Develop and build new relationships with business introducers
  • Identify and manage new business opportunities through an understanding of business life-cycle, market knowledge and comprehensive fact finds
  • Uphold the Conduct Rules and Fit & Proper standing that is required of any person working within financial services
  • Act with honesty and integrity in all dealings with clients and peers alike


  • At least 5-years' experience of advising corporate clients across a range of services
  • Experience of providing holistic, whole of market advice and services to clients
  • A proven track record of being able to service existing clients and be proactive in developing new business and professional contacts
  • Knowledge of developments in financial services
  • Experience of working alongside a professional practice would be an advantage


  • Minimum QCF Level 4 qualified/ CII Diploma
  • Chartered/ Advanced Diploma qualifications desirable
  • Statement of Professional Standing with an accredited professional body
