Search Consultancy is working with an authority in Staffordshire to recruit a Early Help Practitioner working within Children's services.

It's a full-time role 37 hours a week and is paying between £11.61 and £16.43 an hour


The Early Help Team offer support for families who may be facing multiple or complex difficulties.
Early Help practitioners are able to provide 1:1 support for children and young people. They can also help parents and carers with difficulties they may be having, which are affecting family life.
Examples include:
* emotional well-being work
* parenting support & behaviour management
* healthy relationships
* safety in the community
* addressing domestic violence in adult relationships
* alcohol or substance dependency
Each family will have their own plan and this may involve the Early Help Team working closely with other agencies to get the right help at the right time.

About you:

Qualified with a relevant professional qualification at level 3 or above, you will have proven experience of direct family support and multi-agency working, along with group facilitation skills. You will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and engagement skills and a proactive, creative approach to working with children and young people from birth to 18 years old and their parents and care givers. Please note this is not an Early Years Practitioner role.
