Our client is looking for a Document Controller with the ability to support a variety of complex utility projects.

6 months temporary contract with the likelihood to be extended, full time, £13.50 - £17.60 per hour depending on experience.

Perth (or living within a commutable distance) - Role will be remote, but candidates must be local as flexi working may become available as restrictions lift.

What is the Role?

As a Document Controller, you will play a pivotal role in the management and control of project /
business documentation across a wide range of projects for the Transmission Business Unit.

Serving as a technical expert, you will use your previous experience to work with various stakeholders, both
internal and external, to provide Document Control support for projects from conception to completion.

Your responsibilities will be wide spanning and will allow you to supervise, create, implement, and execute to
agreed milestones and deadlines, whilst working to effectively mitigate risks.

What do I need?

With previous experience in a document control role, you should have the ability to pick up new IT software,
and effectively use company-standard document management systems.

Systems: Viewpoint and Content Server, so any knowledge of this or similar is preferred.

Previous experience of interface management, project close out including handover of final
records and archiving is essential.

The suitable candidate should have previous experience working within a project environment and should
have sound knowledge of general IT systems such as the Microsoft Office.

This role will be starting in June and the initial length is set until October 2021, thereafter to be reviewed.
