The Job:

We have exciting opportunities for exceptional Dispatchers to work in Manchester City Centre. The successful candidates will work for a company that provides residential and small businesses electronic security, fire protection, and other related alarm monitoring services. You must be self motivated, and have excellent communications skills, as well as attention to detail.

Hours of work:

39 hours per week, working shifts between the hours of 7am-7pm Monday to Sunday

As a scheduler, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for all queries via phone and e-mail
  • Ensuring customer demands are met through strategic planning of workloads
  • Keeping customers updated via phone after planning of work
  • Working closely with engineers
  • Providing a world class customer service over the telephone, e-mail and other communication channels both internally and externally
  • Logging all information accurately on the in-house system
  • Building strong relationships with customers, subcontractors and suppliers

What you will need:

  • Previous dispatching experience and dealing with Engineers
  • Ability to own on own initiative
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to empathise with the customer
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership over each customer query
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • A passion for customer service
  • Excellent team player
