We're looking for an experienced, passionate and committed Deputy Care Manager in Redhill to help ensure the operational success of our client's care business. As the Deputy Care Manager, you'll be working with other care workers to make people's lives as fulfilled and meaningful as possible. This full-time role comes with a salary of £20,435, along with great benefits.
The Deputy Care Manager role:
Based in Redhill, Surrey, and earning a salary of £20,435, you will be expected to support the Project Manager in leading and managing the supported living project or community-based project. You should have experience as a Deputy Staff Manager. You should fully understand the challenges of being an RGN, RMN, Staff Nurse or Senior Staff Nurse. Responsibilities include:
. Deputising for the Project Manager.
. Providing motivational leadership and line management responsibilities to the care team.
. Maintaining regular touchpoints with clients and their families.
. Reviewing all existing clients' service reviews.
It will also be part of your job to train, mentor and support new staff and identify any training or development needs of the existing team and ensure these are met and documented appropriately. You will be compliant with all health and safety requirements and should be happy to take on flexible working as you may have to work outside regular working hours, which could include weekend duties and the occasional night shift.
Requirements for the Deputy Care Manager role include:
. NVQ Level 2/3 in Care.
. Three years' experience with learning disabilities and experience of managing a team.
. Time-management skills.
. Effective communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
