We are looking for an experienced Deputy Project Manager to work for a service based in Rochdale. This is an opportunity to be part of a team who are supporting homeless males in getting them off the streets and into supported living.
This role is a Full-Time permanent position working a minimum of 40 hours per week, some of which will be unsocial. The post includes some travel and overnight stops can be expected. The post may require you to work from a different location from time to time. In return you will earn a competitive salary of £24,411.00 per annum.
Your main responsibility will be to assist the Line Manager in formulating and development of Trust policy and practice. To deliver the objectives of the Trust as identified in the Business Plan, through line management and through meeting key performance targets relating to the role. To assist Key Workers and Support Staff so that they spend sufficient time with service users to help enable them to achieve the aims of their support/care plan. Leading others in specifically Christian acts of prayer and worship as required.
To carry out this role you will need a good standard of literacy and numeracy together with experience in computer packages including Microsoft Word and Excel. You will need to have experience of working in supported housing, care or voluntary sector with the ability to work within a set budget and a good understanding of the issues affecting ex-offenders/ substance misusers. It is essential that you have experience of working in a supported housing setting. You will also need to be a driver with a Full UK driver's license.
