Deputy Home Manager

Are you an experienced Deputy Home Manager or a Supervisor/Senior Staff Nurse ready to make that next step up in your career to Deputy Home Manager? My client is looking to appoint a Deputy Home Manager within their Care Home, based in the Reigate that specialises in elderly care. The company prides themselves on providing high quality, person-centred care for the elderly. My client is looking for a hardworking, devoted Deputy Home Manager who will deliver the best support and care.

About the role
As a Deputy Home Manager, you will be working closely with the General Manager and taking on leadership duties in their absence.
The main purpose for the role is to lead the care team successfully; this is achieved by providing strong care knowledge, leadership, support and guidance. To ensure that the residents are enabled to lead full, secure and satisfying lives within their own limitations and requirements.

The successful applicant will;
o You must be an experienced qualified nurse with strong clinical skills
o You must be an experienced deputy manager
o Confidence and strong leadership skills
o You will need to be able to keep track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments.
o You need to be compassionate, resilient and determined to deliver quality care in our engaging and energetic environment.
o Develop an action plan in accordance with the current CQC report
o To contribute to a comprehensive induction course for all new staff in the personal care area.
o To participate in staff meetings, staff training, including apprenticeship training and assessment.
