We're looking for an experienced, passionate and committed Deputy Care Manager in Chorlton-cum-Hardy to help ensure the operational success of our client's care business. As the Deputy Care Manager, you'll be working with other care workers to make people's lives as fulfilled and meaningful as possible. This full-time care role comes with a salary of £24,000 to £27,000, along with some great company benefits.
Your primary responsibilities in this Deputy Care Manager role will include:
? Deputising for the Registered Care Manager as and when required.
? Providing motivational leadership and line management responsibilities to the care team
? Maintaining regular touchpoints with clients and their families by carrying out courtesy calls
? Reviewing all existing clients' service reviews, updating care plans, and maintaining accurate records
It will also be part of your job to train, mentor and support new staff and identify any training or development needs of the existing team and ensure these are met and documented appropriately. You may have to work outside regular working hours when business needs require it, which could include weekend duties and the occasional night shift.
Requirements for this Care Manager role include:
? Previous experience working with clients who qualify for continuing healthcare funding
? Comprehensive knowledge of CQC assessment criteria for excellent and outstanding scores
? Management experience within the healthcare sector
? Enhanced DBS disclosure.
