Deputy Care Manager
EBD 2BED Children's Home
Flint, North Wales
£25-26k Per Annum

Search are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join a fantastic care team in Flint, North Wales.

Roles typical of a Deputy Care Manager include:

To manage the home in the absence of the registered manager.
To ensure that Young People have their needs met and the home meets the standards set in the Statement of Purpose.
To assist in establishing and maintaining a competent, motivated and confident staffing team and to offer leadership, managerial direction, guidance and support to subordinates.
To monitor the home's equipment, appliances, and grounds and ensure they are effectively maintained in accordance with health and safety requirements.
To actively strive to achieve the best outcomes for the Young People.

The shift pattern operates on a 5:2 (5 shifts one week, 2 shifts the next week). Some sleep-ins are needed.

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.
Driver with access to own vehicle.
Experience working in care,with children and senior roles.
