Customer Service and Collections
Wage: £17,000 - £20,000
We are looking for customer service advisors who have experience in working towards targets; you will be speaking to customers, who have fallen behind in payments for utility bills,
Council tax or even phone bills.
You will be investigating why payments haven't been made and trying to get a payment over the phone and to set up payment plans.
Some of the conversations you have will be customers who are having financial difficulty and could be upset or even angry. So you need to have a warm voice and have empathy.
A background in collections or banking would be ideal, however, someone with strong sales experience who is looking to move away from traditional cold calling into the collections sector.
You must be able to communicate well both verbally and written as you will be speaking with a variety of customers and will have experience within a customer focused, sales or collections role.
The company is based just out of the town centre; it is on an easy bus route and also has on site parking.
As a customer Service Collections Advisor your main duties and responsibilities will be:
* Outbound calls to customers regarding their outstanding debt
* Building a rapport with the customers to enable effective conversations
* Establishing their needs
* Discussing repayment options
* Organising repayment plans
* Keeping up to date with FCA
* Maintaining a high level of customer service
Working hours will be Monday to Friday with no weekends. Normal shifts will be 8.30am - 5.30pm although there could be times when you might be asked to work till 8pm.
If you need any further information please give the call centre team a ring on 0114 349 2113.
