Customer Service Advisor

My client, a leading manufacturer within their industry, have an immediately available opportunity to join their well established team as a Customer Service Advisor on a permanent basis.

Working in a fast-paced, varied, interesting and business critical role, you will form an integral part of the customer service team. You will handle incoming calls and emails from clients and respond to their enquiries, produce quotes, process orders and meet and greet clients when they arrive on site.

Duties of the role:

  • Handling incoming client telephone calls
  • Resolving customer service enquiries from customers
  • Producing bespoke customer quotations
  • Following up on quotations
  • Processing orders on the systems
  • Meeting and greeting customers on arrival
  • Generating reports
  • Supporting the BDM with all sales support duties
  • Preparing fabric samples
  • General admin duties

Person specification:

  • Previous experience in a customer service environment is essential
  • Experience or knowledge of the manufacturing sector is advantageous
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong information retention skills
  • Can work independently and self-sufficiently
  • Team player
  • Excellent time keeping and punctuality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient with all MS Office programmes and familiarity with SAGE 200 would be advantageous
  • Sociable and outgoing
