Job Salary: £23,254 Start date ASAP

Monday - Friday shift pattern of 35 hours a week on a rota between 8am-5.30pm. Occasional Saturday shifts are required. A lieu day will be given in advance of any scheduled Saturday shift.

We are looking for exceptional people to join our growing Inbound Customer Service team in Manchester City Centre! You must have previous customer service experience, excel at delighting customers and be motivated to build a career in Customer Service. Your day to day responsibilities will include:

  • To answer telephone, e-mail and web-based enquiries from a wide range of customers following the company policy and procedures, providing accurate information and guidance responding to the customers need.
  • Accurately update the companies computer systems during and after customer contact and to correctly interpret the information stored in these systems to ensure the delivery of an excellent service at all times.
  • Meet and exceed departmental and individual service level agreements across a range of areas to ensure an excellent customer experience in line with the Contact Centre's Institute of Customer Service accreditation.
  • To fully comply with the General Data Protection Regulation and companies policies and procedures to ensure confidentiality and standards are maintained at all times.
  • Participate in staff training and to take responsibility for your own development by keeping up to date with all new procedural developments to ensure a high quality service is provided.
  • Participate fully in the continuous improvement process by suggesting improvements to team managers to ensure the department is constantly developed towards excellence.
  • Provide assistance to colleagues dealing with administrative tasks to ensure that the contact centre's workload is handled in an efficient and timely manner.

For the position of Customer Service Advisor we are looking for the following experience:

  • Experience of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A passion for customer service
  • A polite and professional telephone manner
  • Strong background working in a customer service environment providing expert advice and guidance to callers over the telephone, via email, letter and web-based messaging.
  • Effective use of contact centre software
  • Understanding of the General Data Protection Regulation and the importance of maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Experience of working with a Regulatory body would be an advantage.
