The company

The company are based in Motherwell and are a market leader in their sector. You will be part of an established and stable team of customer service advisors during an exceptionally busy time for the business. Due to increased business demands, they are keen to secure a customer service advisor who will be able to assist the team with their increased work load on a temporary basis.

The role

Customer Service Advisor

The role of the temporary Customer Service Advisor will be to answer customer enquiries, processing orders and liaising with customers primarily on the phone, with the addition of liaising via email.

Your duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Inbound communications
  • Communicating via phone calls and emails
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times
  • Understanding the clients products and services
  • Helping resolve customers accounts and offer additional support where required
  • Update customer files with appropriate information
  • Ensure all customer databases are kept up-to-date with accurate information


In return, the Customer Service Advisor will receive:

  • The real living wage hourly pay rate of £9.90
  • Monday to Friday hours 9.30am - 6pm with rota's Saturdays
  • A dedicated consultant within Search
  • Weekly pay
  • Full training provided
  • Temporary contract of between 3 - 6 months


About you

The successful Customer Service Advisor will be confident, considered and engaging, and will have a real enthusiasm and passion for delivering excellent service and products to your customers.

You will also:

  • Have excellent customer service experience
  • Have previous experience of either working in a contact centre or in a retail environment
  • Have an organised approach to your working day
  • Be computer literate
  • Have clear and concise communication skills both verbally and written
  • Have experience of using excel and other Microsoft office applications
