Customer Operations Representative - Basingstoke - £10ph - 4-5 Month contract
The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a strong customer service professional to join this busy team in Basingstoke. You will provide new and existing customers with the best possible service in relation to all customer enquiries and requests received. A successful candidate will be involved with project work and key, high volume tasks to ensure the smooth running of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Attention to detail, ensuring work is completed quickly and accurately.
* Identifying any potential problems, getting to the root cause and taking appropriate action to escalate and/or resolve as appropriate.
* Demonstrating flexibility in working patterns to meet business needs and customer volumes.
* Keeping up to date with legislative changes and Standard Life's range of products.
* Keeping up to date with product and/or process knowledge as required for the role.
* Resolving customer enquiries fairly and effectively, in a timely and accurate manner.
* Responsible for following core processes to ensure optimisation of customer experience. All actions must comply with the process requirements.
* Developing an understanding and demonstrating knowledge of specific platforms, services and processes as appropriate, depending on the aligned team.
